Every time I play Ryze, it ends up the same.

Farm for 20 minutes Can't do shit Team surrenders

The fuck do I do, how am I supposed to do anything if I don't get a power spike until like 30 minutes in?

Honestly, Ryze is in a pretty crappy place right now. Most top-laners shit on him and taking him mid-lane is a death sentence. He has the lowest win-rate of anybody right now, even lower than Azir, somehow.

Are you against a melee champion? If so, get Tear and Catalyst. Are you level six? Good. Get your passive, ult, and blow up your enemy laner.

You must be doing something wrong. I had a game a while back where myself and two others were chasing a Ryze at like 30% health.

He ulted, turned around and (I think) 2-shotted us with bind and one other spell. The death recap for all 3 of us was less than half a second of damage. So...definitely ult-attack enemies that stand on top of eachother.
