The mythology of Bronze Chaos [The majority of players]
Bronze Chaos is a term that refers to both Silver and Bronze , despite having only one name within it.... and although Silver Terror is another term, it is adequate to refer to both as just "Bronze Chaos" as a catch-all term.
That being said, there is this strong mythology that states that there is very little difference between Bronze Chaos and Diamond Pride, of course we know this to be nonsense. There are no similarities between Bronze Chaos and Diamond Pride, for expedience's sake , we will eschew the terms after this point.
Bad players will always hit rock bottom precisely because they are bad players. Good players will gradually shift upwards eventually reaching what their worth actually is. Water finds its own level, this is not debatable, this is an axiom , an absolute.
However, the worst players will delude themselves and others, blaming "The System" for their atrocious placement. This is what we call "Excuses".... in the same vein, in fighting games you'd find people making excuses, blaming "Throws" (Especially tick throws) or "Overpowered" characters that they want soft-banned. Such nonsense is not logical.
There is no such thing as a "good player" stuck in the lowest brackets. There is no such thing as a (non boosted) bad player that is in the upper brackets. It just does not happen and thus occurs "The Mythology of Bronze Chaos" ; **Because it's easier to blame a faceless "Power structure" than to admit that the real problem is your own low skill level **
Ironically, once a player admits that they are bad, only then can they begin to improve.... once they recognize their own failings, if they are trapped in their mind with a Dunning-Kruger style effect, they will stagnate.
