@riot Camille Thoughts

She is not OP, i just want to make this point clear so people don't think this is a complaint thread.

While Camille Isn't OP, she's definitely strong but i'm fairly sure if people learned how to play against her (kind of hard when she's perma banned.) they wouldn't have that much of an issue(she still needs some changes though). First, camille's early game power is on par with or greater than that of champions like Pantheon or Renekton. This means that in all likelihood unless you outplay her really hard, you won't win a 1v1 at levels 1-6 and the problem with this is that unlike renekton and pantheon which you can run from, its a lot harder to run from Camille. Many player's don't like this playstyle and find it hard to do anything about, they hate having to keep their distance from a champion constantly instead of being able to pick trades that are in their favor. People don't like having to survive a laning phase instead of winning it.

Her kit's a little overloaded, and while mastering her is supposed to be hard similar to riven, the tools she has and learning her is pretty easy which is a no go for champions such as Camille. (imagine if learning Riven were extremely easy.)

The first thing i think should be looked at is her W's 90% slow, that's ridiculous, it doesn't even decay so for about 2 seconds your basically stunned. This slow is a major issue and it's kind of funny because Ivern had the exact same thing on his Shield, a massive AOE slow that didn't decay. This slow should either be removed or toned down A LOT, she's very mobile and it's already hard enough to get away from her, there's no reason for her to have a 90% slow.

The second thing is the True damage on her second Q, it's not exactly hard to use considering the indicator that Camille gives you when you should press it. This goes against her champion design and makes her hit like a rock early on, i feel like this shouldn't be removed but changed to Percent Max Health damage so she can't burst someone with it anymore or at the very least increase the ratio on her second Q then remove the true damage. If this were removed then her early game would become a bit weaker, however due to the nature of her kit it would still make her a formidable duelist and early game/mid game diver.

PS: To the designer of Camille, she's is one of my favorite champions upon release, the last champion that i loved this much was Illaoi and i'm a Mastery 7 illaoi main. I think Camille's design was great but the tools she has would make her a Perma banned champion like Yasuo and i don't want that, no one does.

Edit: Camille is already receiving nerfs on the PBE.

I disagree with just 1 part of your statement, I think she is extremely OP in the right hands, she reminds me of Yasuo very very much which is a very very bad thing, if you dont pick her hard counter there is 0% chance that you can do anything to her unless she is bad ofc, and that isnt a good design. Same thing as Yasuo, fun to play, cancer for other 9 players. I am really dissapointed that this mistake was made again and again, we need more champs like Ivern and less of this bullshit pls RITO...

I really just think she needs the slow and true damage removed and she'll be fine....although i do wish people would up vote more so riot can see this :( lol

Edit: She was supposed to be that way, good in the right hands, bad in the wrong hands but the tools she has makes up for the gap.

I feel like if Q2 was magic damage instead of true damage, it might achieve the same results - punishing tanks. Most tanks would build armor to go against Camille, and giving her magic damage would bypass that armor, like true damage, but still able to be mitigated.

Her slow does decay bud and she isn't broken. I'd say she's on par with that of maybe Fiora but a bit easier.
