When are you going to nerf Heimerdinger

At all Elo's Heimer sits well above a 50% win rate (well, except challenger where he hasn't been played once, but 57% at master).

I've typically watched champion's win rates out of curiousity over the last 6 months or so, and Heimerdinger has literally been at a 55-56% win rate in plat+ for the entire duration.

I don't believe ANY other champion in the entirety of league has been allowed to have this high of a win rate for this long.

Sure, there are counters (Syndra) but that isn't a reason to allow this. Heimerdinger should be a niche pick, in to a team that needs the ability to siege turrets and against a team that doesn't pose him many threats. He shouldn't be someone that can be picked 1st or 2nd and still be successful.

I understand that he has a low pick rate. That's also why he has a low ban rate. Why waste a ban on someone who's only going to be picked around 1% of the time? But if he is picked, and you're in promos so you can't dodge, good luck...

Heimerdinger's weakness should be his lack of mobility making him susceptible to ganks. Except for the most part, if he gets ganked he just drops his big turret and wins 1v2. What exactly is his weakness then? He has hard cc (a stun), tonnes of damage, is safe in lane, can pressure turrets in lane mid or top, etc...

The damage on heimerdinger's big turret needs to come WAY down. Or the damage on his small turrets need to come down. Or both. Or make him work to keep his turrets up, don't make it a default that if you're melee you can't get to his turrets before he kills you. He shouldn't just get to keep 3 turrets up at all times, he should need to choose opportune moments to place them rapidly to win a fight/trade.

Yes, I just played against one. The other team also had a Mordekaiser. Like hell, Riot you have let several (6+) champions these last couple patches remain really absurdly (broken) strong and have made it impossible to ban them all out (especially if the enemy captain wants to pick one, e.g. our captain banned Fiora, Darius and Garen or something like that, enemy captain banned Shyvana, Olaf and I think Urgot? and first picked Mordekaiser, their second pick went Heimerdinger).

now look at how often he is played... Riot is not going to nerf a champion who is only decent in the laning phase. You don't send melees against Heimer (unless they have enough sustain to deal with him), you send champions with range or some sort of poke to kill the turrets. Heimer is extremely easy to keep down if you know what you are doing

Honestly, i considered picking him up 6 months ago and figured it was pointless because he'd be nerfed pretty quickly...

Not much you can do when your teammate picks melee in to him. But even regardless, a champion doesn't get to over a 55% win rate if he's only good in laning phase or loses to casters.

he is barely played at all, which means that the people who play him are those who have have pretty much mastered the champion. There are those who can demolish people with Poppy even in the early game does that make Poppy a good champion? no! i have seen people destroying with Eve before she got reworked and that's when she was considered one of the worst champions at the time, did that made Eve a good champion back then? no!

If the enemy picks Heimer that early in the rotation and whoever is going against the Heimer decides to be an idiot and pick a melee champion that has no way to deal with Heimer that's not Heimer's fault, it's the fault of your dumb teammate for counterpicking himself and making life be stupidly hard when it could have easily been avoided

thing is heimi gets counterd by using your brains wich is something everyone is supose to be able to do

So diamonds and masters are dumb? Because as your elo rises, so does heimerdinger's win rate.

He's around 57% win rate up there.

It takes communication

Like already said her dont send melee champ into heimedinger

you see a reksai jg and champ mid that cant handle donger

bot and top r just gonne keep on doig their thing what happends mid isnt their problem or fault right so these 2 champs will have to deal with donger Than once hes fed they r going to try and shut him down but its usualy already to late

if you just take out his turrets before fighting him hes pretty much useless to

With a pick rate that low, win rate means practically nothing as a statistic in regards to a champion's strength.

For example, if a new champion came out and was only played in a single game on ladder and won, the new champion's win rate would be 100%. No one would be calling for nerfs because it was only one game, and the amount of data points would be too low to give a definite conclusion. This is the same situation, Donger isn't being played often enough to give an accurate gauge of his power.

To make things worse, the vast majority of players who are currently picking Donger almost exclusively pick him to counter melee champions, artificially inflating his win rate. If a champion is only played against champions they counter, the win rate will be high no matter if the champion is balanced or not. Heim is especially powerful in this meta of juggernauts + Fiora because he has an easy time slapping those types of champions around if they're not playing intelligently against him.

Then you look at the statistics for Heimerdinger mid and realize that he doesn't only counter melee champions.

I honestly want Heim to be nerfed because he is the most annoying champ to play against anywhere. His turrets are op and when he is fed, he is unstoppable. This is what I think. He also has a stun move and he is the potential to burst on a champ very well. The main way to counter him is to outplay him. Destroy his turrets whenever you get the chance. The turrets are a big part of Heim, so get that out of the way. Dodge his grenade that stuns, and you are set. But I still think he should get nerfed. Hope this helped!

God Heimer is annoying. What's irritating to me is the fact that he's a combined form of Karma and Zyra, but way better.
