Why doesnt Gangplank ult tooltip show the total damage his ult does?

Fiddle ult does now, can we make Gangplanks do the same?

Fiddle can realistically deal the full damage from his ult fairly regularly, Gangplank cannot.

Because it would actually lower clarity, because it would show numbers in the thousands, making it hard to judge for newer gp players, and also nobody really ever takes a full gp ult

well why show Miss Fortune E damage since who takes it all anyway? or MF ult anyway. That's probably easier to get out of than GP ult.

yes well his point was why show it when no one sits in it for the full duration. It also doesn't explain MF ult, Lucian ult, etc.

MF ult is relatively short and you use it when you can try to hit the entire duration. Same with Lucian ult. Gangplank's ultimate isn't meant to deal sustained damage over 8 seconds. It's meant to create a zone (or use it as a global execute on low health enemies).

mf ult and lucian ult dmg is calculated by per wave/per bullet hit.

People are saying things like, "nobody takes the full damage because they can walk out of the circle," so I'm going to go ahead and suggest that the tooltip show damage per wave and the total number of waves ( item 3901 ). Also, it should say how much item 3902 would do.

Miss Fortune's does as well. I think Lucian. HOPEING Gangplank is just an oversight (perhaps harder with his alterations to it)

completely agree riots tooltips are so bad with number info they erally need to tidy it up. who cares if they arent in it the whole time showing the total damage is still super handy.
