chogath is an archaic champion and he needs some tweeks

once upon a time, there were champions that had no mobility and long cooldowns to balance their burst and tankiness or cc. pretty much all of these champions were reworked such as sion, but chogath remains. that doesn't mean chogath is poorly designed or whatever, it just means he's either going to be overtuned or undertuned at all times which is silly. Right now, getting hit by rupture after level 6 as a squishier champion is virtually synonymous with dying to chogath, which is pretty stupid imo considering how tanky and sustainy he himself is(he can wait all day for that one q to land). however, if he got nerfed to where you could survive his combo, you'd probably just be able to kill him all the time with ease. I think that to make chogath more reasonable his q OR w OR r base damages should go down and he should in return get lower cooldowns and mana costs.

Yeah i just lost to a chogath but i also exploited him a few games ago for an easy win because i only play one champ and he got banned so i needed a brainless champ to play and i also used to main him so not QQ

I don't know, Cho generally has to go through a lot to land Rupture.

Games like Mario, Darksouls, or Agario generally pack a certain charm to them where they have a lot of very powerful, but extremely telegraphed OHKO attacks.

Also, LoL isn't a turn-based game like Pokemon or Final Fantasy where defense and damage together is a huge deal. You can survive long enough to do your job with mobility or range in LoL, so Cho dealing damage while being tanky isn't game-breaking.

Not a huge fan of such a change.

Beyond the advantages above, Cho'Gath's aesthetic is about being big and hitting hard.

And in regards to the Sion rework? Cho's kit is a lot like Sion's current Decimating Smash. Sion was derpy when he was about building attack speed and crit and being a glass-cannon.

A good way to make a large champion feel strong in a balanced way is balancing them hitting hard enough to fit their aesthetic with making each hit slow. Kind of like a Giant making a big deal with each step.

I loved playing Cho before he was played in the LCS earlier this year. Picking Cho last season was... wtf cho mid??????? Now with no changes at all except for his ult CD on minions, everyone thinks he's OP despite having the same exact damage he's always had.
