Say it increases CC by 1 second. They couldve just given him a 1 second stun instead of Brittle. In which case it could be combod into a morg Q.
So before people are like "TENACITY PLEASE" just take this into account.
(I know that there are some differences like ease to land other CC, difference in types of hard CC, as well as his ult apllies many. But this is just a reminder)

Skorch1 votesI wasnt sure the number, but even then they couldve just given him a stun instead of increasing others. This was mainly just a point i brought up for people freaking out about him extending stuns.
Pippen The Short1 votesThis is difference in that, if 2 people stun at the same time the duration isn't any longer. The stuns dont' stack, you have to time your cc to get it to "chain together". Now, Brittle just extends the incoming CC.
