Galio isn't that mobile.
He's also got (imo) some fantastic conditions and nuances to his mobility to make it less overbearing.
depends your definition of mobile
Yep, his E can't go over walls and 9/10 times when you use it to escape you'll knock into the enemy you're running from and stop right there. But using your ult on a random person to escape sure tilts the enemy.
On the other hand, Camille is countering mobility. Her ultimate is the ultimate counter for escapes. Ekko ult, Talon E, all that stuff doesn't matter. They can not leave.
And to be able to use that skill against them, she needs some form of mobility herself. Otherwise she would never get in range to use it against them.
On top, her mobility has conditions. She has to attach to a wall and that gives her mobility some counterplay in lane. You see which wall she is going to attach to and you can dodge it.
Also happens to be a great counter for any immobile champions due to the massive E range.
Having a mobile champ with the ability to stop the mobility of the opponent isn't a good combination.
I could understand an immobile champ doing that to counter getting jumped on (cass) or to put them on even ground with hypermobile champs (ryze. annie).
Mobile champs do not also need a counter to mobility.
I would say she has it because she's a diver
Except the counter to Camille's anti-mobility is...mobility. You need it to prevent a hyper-mobile champion from getting in range of you to use it.
How are we supposed to counter Camille's mobility then? We need a new champion that is even more mobile than her.

Tbh Kled is different than the rest since he is super slow in his unmounted form and his e is much dirrfent than FIora q, Ekko e/ult and talon e/ult. It isn't really a escape. Since it only brings you back into the fight and his ulti is also an engage imo.
if you wanna get technical he has 4 dashes and a team wide hyper movespeed though.
Don't complain about Kled mobility... He's broken, yes. But this isn't due go his mobility
Kled isn't broken.
do u prefer op ?? He's op.
U'll si why when u'll climb.
Kled E cant go over walls, and his ult can sometimes be a hindrance rather than a buff, as its just an MS increase rather than a dash, and if you miss your target than you sail by them and cannot stop
a better case would be
he gives everyone on your team a pretty long range dash
They're trying to use mobility more smartly in kits. In Camille's case, they gave her an interesting mobility tool. They also gave her the kitchen sink, which was/is the problem. Rakan is our first super-mobile support, which is neat. Galio got specials mechanics on his movement (pullback and inability to cross walls with E, ally-only targeting with Ult) to keep it from being too ridiculous.
They are working to manage mobility creep, but they're not doing it by refusing to touch it as a mechanic. That would 100% reduce mobility creep, but mobility is annoying for reasons beyond it being so plentiful, and it's important they address those, too.
Sssssssh.
Lee Sin's tri-dash and Renektons 1/2 free dashes are the exact same as Camille's single long-range initiation. /s
Yeah man. Renektons double dash is FREE. The champion could exist without it.
Also it's like Camille doesn't have a huge slow and ulti which makes it so she can stick onto her target (not counting stun because renekton has that too).
Comparing champions the way you just did is the stupid af
But without his dashes this stupid Lacoste wou'ldnt be à divers anymore, but à juggersh't
You're misinterpreting what a 'free dash' is.
A free dash is an any-direction dash with zero hindrances or boxes to check. Lucian has a free dash because he can throw it in any direction. Reneketon has a free dash for the same reason. Ezreal has a free blink. etc. Mobility without and real drawback other than "The skill goes on CD".
Conversely, Aurelion Sol might be able to "dash" across half the map but he's visible, has to build up a charge and any damage removes from him. Camille has to leap from a wall and if she's not aiming at a champion, the range is pretty damn short by comparison. Rakan is the last champ with a truly "free" dash (His W) but even then he has a pretty heafty delay due to the knock up.
Renekton has to hit something with his first dash in order to get a second one. So it's not FREE free, but yeah, he can do a lot with it.
have free dashes.
Oops I meant to reply to the dude above you. I hope he sees it.
You're misinterpreting what a 'free dash' is.
finally someone understands me, i posted on this in comment replies a long time ago saying free dashes are unhealthy.
"Free-target dash" is a bit more clear of a term, but thank you for clarifying what you meant without calling anyone an idiot in the process.
It's a really shitty state of affairs when you have to thank me for not being an asshole. :\
It's an anonymous internet discussion board :/
Th problem is that any counter to mobility is an even bigger counter to immobility. We need more grounded effects in league.
I've asked for Xerath W to have that since eons.

I disagree.
First of all from what you say about grounded effects I'm guessing you see them as an exception to your rule, so I'm going to ignore those. Thing is that champions like annie(reliability as a counter to mobility), lulu, janna/etc actually are a much bigger pain to mobile champions than immobile ones, as these generally outrange their reliable cc(the trade off for pointclick skills is almost always range, and immobile champions tend to be ranged, or being bulky so a period of point click cc isn't as devastating), I do agree that slows are more effective against immobile champions, but I'd say slows are a counter to immobility, whereas knockups, knock downs, grounding, and pointclick immobilization are a counter to mobility.
Rakan, for all intensive purposes, is just a hasty support. If played as a support, he virtually has no damage and his kit doesn't really leave much room for burst even if he built AP. So his slipperiness is the reason why he's "weak" in terms of damage but fun to play as.
The reason why i find Rakan fun is because he's really quick. If i'm going to be supporting my teammates as a squishy champ, i better not be so easily caught. Rakan's own personality is like that. He wants to be in a thick of a fight and getting out is a breeze for him. That's why he's fun.
they've also begun to introduce for the first time ANTI mobility spells into the game relatively recently in the last year or so with:
Poppy (w), Taliyah (e), warwick (Q), cassiopeia (w), camille (r)
its not much but they are aware of the issue and the best way to fight cool outplay potential with mobility is to give the game more tools to outplay that mobility. I don't think the answer is less mobility, but more so answers to mobility.
we already have protobelt, deadmans added to help immobile champs. it doesn't cover all of them, but its a start. give them time they don't wanna rush their answer to mobility creep and ruin the game then have to go back and fix it. they will find their answer soon enough.
Galio is anti-mobility. Camille is mobility WITH anti-mobility. Anti-mobility is inherently weaker vs immobile champs who are meant to hold their ground vs locking in a Yasuo who is meant to be dash happy.
In essence, they didn't remove mobility creep but rather are releasing counters to mobility creep perpetrators.
How is Galio anti-mobility? Every ability he has is avoidable with mobility.
Obviously within his area of influence similar to how Poppy is anti-mobility within hers (W). W sets people up for E and R sets people up for W. For counter-engagement purposes obviously since he's a Warden.
Poppy's w cancels dashes, against mobility Galio's W is just zoning unless someone dashes in just to be taunted. I've played the new Galio a lot and I just feel countered by mobility, similar to Sion and Cho but not as bad. I suppose Galio prevents melee assassins from killing by standing on a squishy but I dont think he counters mobile ranged champs at all.
Lemme just correct this here though.
Poppy's w cancels dashes near her, against mobility Galio's W is just zoning unless someone dashes in just to be taunted.
Galio's W counter's dashes near him, against mobility Poppy's W is just zoning unless someone dashes in just to be blocked.
Just because it doesn't pop them up doesn't mean it doesn't counter it in the same way. Galio's W is actually better at it since it locks them for far longer and leads into even more CC chaining.
Good old days without yasuo,ekko,camille,Rakan... if i wanted to play game with 100 dashes i would play Battlerite or Osu. League felt so good without milion dashes and jumps. There are people who love that stuff but its not me. That is why i main teemo , panth... Good old immobile peace and serenity lanes.
teemo
peace
wat?
i have so much peace running around planting my shrooms and stuff. Its almost as im playing stardew valley. So relaxing and peaceful for me at least. We teemo players are not really that devils you make us to be.
i dont have a problem with teemo players, just the champ itself
edit: he says with the little devil teemo icon...

"When everybody has more mobility, no1 will have more mobility"
Dont forget the biggest offender
Nerf his mobility more
You think mobility is bad in League, try that unholy mess Heroes of the Storm. Try catching Genji...TRY IT.
Meh I can usually shut down a genji pretty easily
and yet lee still has the highest mobility and yet nothing is done.
Ward hop, Q Ult E back to your team walk away .. tower sits there in a stuper not knowing what to do .
