If you don't have champs for every role, don't play ranked

It's as simple as that. You need to play every role and have a champ or more than one for every role, otherwise you're just asking for a loss. That happened to me today because last pick on our team did not have any jungle champs besides Sejuani, who she didn't tell me she had her until after the game started, and wouldn't trade with me in the counting down seconds of her pick. She took Akali with no smite. I took smite on Taric sup to help out the team and we still ended up losing. I had the same Akali in my last match before it too and she took Akali top when she knew we needed more tank and fed Vlad. So please, if you don't have a champ for every role, for the sake of others, do not play ranked.

thank you for making your entire argument invalid by letting everyone know you are probably a flamer and QQ'er. Your rank does matter and you are in B5 which is literally the worst of the worst. Report me if you want, but maybe you should focus on your own mistakes (which are a lot just by looking at your profile) instead of bashing others. Akali top is legit and akali jungle, while may not be meta is still viable. It isnt your choice to choose who another person plays, they play the champions they are good at.

This person was not good at Akali. How rude of you. I am good and I'm in B5 not because of my mistakes, and I do not make a lot of them. I'm just trying to get people to know this so it doesn't mess up the whole team because on person did not have a champ for a role that was the only one left. I am not a flamer or QQ'er. My argument is if to not play ranked if you don't have a champ for every role. What I said is my experiences of people just like that to show how it messes up the team. I was not complaining.

But your example showed a player picked a viable champion to the role assigned to. Akali in the top lane has been a force to be reckoned with. So technically the experience you shared indicated that the player you had problem with, actually had a champion, Akali, for the role.

What are you trying to prove?

I have said this over and over. Akali chose top when we needed a tank, and went against a Vlad who she fed. I put that in my argument to show how she wouldn't listen to the team and fed, then next match she did not listen when she was last pick and the only role was to jungle, which she therefore chose Akali again without smite and said she would just roam everywhere, not listening to the fact that I was trying to get her to choose a jungler champ so I could trade with her. I am trying to prove that this shows an example of how it messes the team up when you don't have a champ for every role. Goodness.

If I can educate people about this topic or help people realize they don't have a champ for every role it could save a team from a loss of LP and a lot of anguish.

They do, the example you gave was an Akali picking to top and Akali top is perfectly viable.

Like I said how many times before, the Akali top example was just to show how the person was not listening to the team and therefore cost them the game just like the one where she had no jungler champ. The personal experience is that I played in those games and it is not fun. If I was complaining, I would be ranting on and on about this girl or whatever, but I'm not, just showing how people who don't have a jungler champ can mess up the whole team.

I've played Leblanc in the jungle and still won.

My point is that there is no set champions to be played in set roles

I never said anything about non meta junglers or champs that go jungle but are usually a mid or top. Akali used to be a jungler but not any more really. But if you want to win its better to play the meta, especially in bronze. Usually people who do not follow the meta end up making the team lose.

To be honest, whenever I play ranked I say "anything but jungle" because I'm just inherently shite at jungle, and ranked jungling for me is an entirely different atmosphere then normals. I've tried picking up junglers but I just don't have the jungler instinct that I need to jungle in ranked, and a lot of people are in the same position when it comes to X role.

What happens when your 3 junglers are banned, you are last pick and thats the only role left? Happened to me like 3 weeks ago. I played Nocturne and somehow we won, certainly not bc of me though, lol.

Honestly, Akali top is every bit viable. Meta isn't an enforced way to win, it's just how people play. You can play Taric jungle and win IF YOU ARE GOOD. Your argument is basically invalid lol

You know guys, imma say this. My least favourite role is ADC, and last season i lost a bunch of games because i quite simply didn't have an adc champion that i could play. Altough i cannot come up with another example, it's not a "have all champions or say hello to your negative winrate" situation, but it's good if you have a champ for each role.

if you cant work as a team to give everyone a role they can play then you deserve to lose...

should they play atleast 2 roles? yes... should they have backup champs if theirs get banned? yes. but do they need multiple champs for EVERY role? NO

stilli cant adc to save my life, does that mean i can play ranked even though I'm probably gold at mid and silver at jungle top at support?

saying that you need to play more than 1 champ and more than one role i 100% agree with you.. saying to you need to have knowlege of how each role and a decent amount of knowlege of chertain champs skillsets i agree with you.. but sayign that you need to know EVERY role at a level you can play in ranked is wrong. you dont.

yeah well, like i said i can play a gold Nidalee mid and a silver Lux Blitzcrank and RekSai

i know how adc work but i cant even get a postive kda as adc vs intermediate bots, i will dodge any game before i take ADC in ranked. how is that different from not knowing how to play any adc at all?

well usually adc is a popular role so its usually taken before your pick. But yes, it is different than not knowing how to play any adc at all.
