Why are ADC's getting more safety?

don't they have a role designed specifically to keep them safe? I've seen plenty of games where mid,top,jungle and support were designed to protect the ADC as well.

Because their damage items are being nerfed. Is part of making more build paths.

probably bc for the majority of players (not in plat+) the adc isn't protected like they should be while bruisers can build hp and still delete an enemy team just as well.

I agree, I'm not gonna say I'm the best player but I at least understand that ADCs at ALL points of the game NEED protection by their team. Without peel and support they're pretty useless since their builds don't allow tankiness aside from the last item, and the most tanky ADCs (Miss Fortune, Graves, Kindred) aren't really that tanky. Protection like this is rarely offered in low elo games (I play usually with strictly Gold - Plat players which I guess is more in the middle and even then there's not a big difference) and the ADC role is pretty useless, you can get away with cheesey bot lanes like ADC Xin Zhao or ADC Yasuo.

I don't think that ADCs should be given more safety/self peel simply because It's hard to find in low elo by the ADC's team though.

Your assuming that arc has a major distance closer like tristana, if you have a draven or low mobility champ then you need help protecting yourself, most people won't peel for the ADCs, just cause everyone once and a while you see a comp centered around an adc or the sup and jungle peeling for that adc doesn't mean that in almost every other game they are protected. You are forgetting all those times where that adc is getting one shot by a 0 2 4 Diana. They need protection so they can protect yourself instead of completely at the mercy of your team.
