Is it so bad that Riot buffs more exciting champions?

Look, I know this is a controversial opinion and a lot of people are going to hate me for it. But, with a few annoying champions aside (Yasuo and Vayne), I feel like most of the champions people complain that Riot buffs for worlds make the game more fun, not less. Champions who have more outplay and counterplay potential like Ekko and Lee Sin are more fun to watch and to play.
