Deep Terror Nami7 votesOppressive Supports like Teemo actually work pretty well in low elo. The enemy Support tends to think they are supposed to be passive and can't take a hit, so when you are hyper-aggressive they cower and lose lane hard and just feed you. Teemo might not be the best at it, but his Q makes most ADC's worthless for the duration and his shrooms provide protection from ganks and vision that no other Support can really provide. Sure he probably kill steals a lot, but that just means he puts out lots of damage too.
I'm Plat 5 and would still respect an enemy Teemo Support. I'm not even sure at what point it'd be so bad that you have to be a jerk and ban your ally out of it.
JayHog19922 votesAnother thing, I tend to get Frozen mallet, zzrot for pushing help and then full tank so I can stick to targets without dying. Adding the frost Queen's ghosts and shrooms, I have slows for days, good to help even the slowest champion on my team catch up.
1011001110002 votesLow elo Teemo Support also provides vision up the ass because he's not gated solely by the ward limit. A good Teemo Support can have active map awareness for both bot and mid post-6 in laning, and provides hard vision control for objectives in the level of play that almost actively refuses to get red trinket and pink wards.

Any decent player can just shrug off Teemo and then step on him once his ADC is dead.
EvilUnicornLord1 votesThis is true, I have a friend who's seen numerous enemies lose bot lane after getting the adc on a killing spree just because they made poor choices.
Granted, Teemo support will always hold a special place in my heart... The part used for hating... Because I thought I was going support, wound up going top with exhaust, worked my butt off carrying through major objectives (I think I got over four towers in that game), and then the Teemo support that had ignite, cottontail, cs and kill stealing, said he "carried this noob team". Just when I think I stop hating a champion, another person like that shows up.

JayHog19921 votesI once met a friendly Draven who was kind to tell me who to focus in a 2v2 duel while I was Lulu. After listening to his advice, we started winning lanes more often and then the game.
Sometimes it surprises me when the community ends up wrong at some stereotypes.

Thanks to the Star Guardian Poppy skin, her ban rate shortly rose above Teemo's just because people were doing so horrible at her and nobody wanted her as a teamate. It's lowered now, but her winrate is still in the trash. I can almost taste Mastery Score 7!
