What i miss most about teambuilder

SwiftKitten88··16 votes·1,263 views

the fact that you could try out new champions and face players who are also new.

i rarely played ranked anymore.. and my elo in unranked in low gold... (according to the fact that im normally put wth high silver and gold and sometimes plats in unranked)

but when i play a NEW champ, bots can only really get me to a bronze 1 level. game always end so fast.

when my unranked elo was much lower than my ranked elo is was ok.. but because of dynamic que and me rarely playing ranked anymore.. so now my unranked elo is MUCH higher than my ranked elo.

i wish there i was able to play a game vs people but play one where it KNEW i wasn't my "normal" skill lvl on that champ.

and that's why i miss teambuilder

Teambuilder took into account how much experience you had in your role and with that champion, and lowered or raised your effective mmr accordingly. So if you've never jungled janna before, you're against much easier opponents while you try.

I miss picking support and leaving from the team to troll people lol

i used to be a support main in the days of teambuilder, because it was nice being able to avoid retarded team comps that guaranteed loses straight out of the loading screen.

being able to cycle through until i found a good team i could work with made the game MUCH more enjoyable now were stuck with this que bullshit where you get stuck with idiots playing their first game with a janna in the jungle.

What his saying is, team builder doesn't take into account your MMR from ranked or unranked and that they miss the fact they faced low level players and not worry about sucking. Not sure if this is true about MMR not being included in teambuilder, but I did notice a lack of gold+ in team builder from my experience.

I deleted my post because I wanted to re-write it but didn't have the time at the moment. I don't think team builder excluded norm MMR (but I'm not certain). However, the point I was trying to make about OP trying out the draft pick mode because it's, in a sense, similar to Team Builder isn't exactly accurate (which is why I wanted to re-write it). I was thinking that the draft pick mode would allow you to pick out the champ you wanted to try but the huge difference is although you can "claim" your champ, you're not guaranteed to actually get it because it could be banned or someone else could pick it. Whereas with team builder, you were guaranteed 100% to get the champ of your choice. I mean, I personally loved team builder and was sad to see it go, but if it had to be replaced, I think the current draft pick mode is a decent replacement...for now :)

The thing I liked about Teambuilder is, I could pick what ever I want, and no one would complain. Simply because everyone knew what they were getting into.

If I was playing an off meta, or completely unorthodox support. The captain could always kick me if it was a problem. (But who would wait another 10 minutes just to find another support?)

Try that in DQ, (Even in Normals) Some one is going to flame you, because it's an experience they didn't sign up for.

What i liked about team builder is that you can decline trolls and are guaranteed your roles, and there are no instalocks and people can't pick your champion forcing you to dodge or play someone else. considering that DQ is not the most popular thing in the world right now, i think team builder could just come back as a queue option, there is no reason not to have it for people who enjoyed team builder and it's environment

Why was it even removed in the first place? It made soloing a less of a pain in the rear.
