I'm not a fan of lores, but I believe it perfectly shows what's wrong with Riot

They simply don't listen/care for fans.

They change things that shouldn't be changed which in turn enrages some players.

I don't know (nor care) who's working on champion lores. But i sure know he doesn't give much attention to what some champion lores used to be.

######Also I'm still salty of "class-change champion reworks" Riot did. It's exactly the same deal there.

What a lovely corporate way of dealing with things <3

Please, it's your opinion and you are entitled to it. But don't think for a moment that everyone agrees with you. I love the new deeper lore that isn't just a paragraph slapped onto the end of a champion release. If this is about xerath, he lived in his own dimension in old lore and never interacted with any champion. Now at least he has a place among the other champs. No one wants to play a villain, they all want misunderstood geniuses. But own up to the fact that being a villain is relative.

From the amounts of threads about how Riot dumbed down Viktors lore (making him more villain'sih) I'm quite sure playerbase is (once again) divided.

Listen, I don't mind changes, but some of them were and still are simply stupid. That could have been avoided by instead of totally reworking something, just transforming it.

But w/e I really don't care at this point.

If you actually read what was released, you'd find out that it was Jayce's lore not Viktor's that was released. People are just really upset that Jayce sees Viktor as a Villain rather than a misunderstood genius. But that's the point. HE IS MISUNDERSTOOD right?

In other words we/lore fans have to wait for Viktors lore update, yes?

For me this whole mess comes from lack of communication or engagement from their side to inform us or even work WITH us towards one goal.

Or because people focus too much on what they think they see and not what's actually there. Leading to hype and then major disappointment when it doesn't meet their standards.

And shouldn't this be in the lore boards?

It's almost like zaun is going to have its own lore come through as the second part of the ongoing lore event and that Viktor will get his lore update when that happens.

Ya more or less. Right now is Piltover's story, and Riot has gone out of their way to make their society total dicks, so it makes sense they'd dick on Viktor, but I'm sure Zaun's lore will clear the matter right up. A coin is only valuable when you have both sides.
