Start playing league after a month break
And I get to go support on my second game....on top of the toxicity making me feel negative as shit...this game is definitely not healthy to play anymore

This is where /mute all comes in handy, also disabling the all chat. If you really don't find this game fun anymore, then please, for the love of god, just play another game instead of complaining about it here. This game is toxic I get it, but learn to use the mute button.

That's... fairly ignorant. I will always support muting and moving on if possible, but to tell someone to not be vocally/textually frustrated by a situation that has been plaguing this game for years is being unfair. Want someone to not complain about it on the forums? How about you go relieve of this game of all of the players that think it's funny to verbally harass someone, or deliberately do what they can to ruin the 20-40 minutes of those that he/she queues up with, or even sometimes goes as far as to friend request a player to harass them further.
Muting helps. It is our primary tool to curbing the excess toxicity that always reminds us of the obvious issue with our community, but it's not an end all. Those that are playing this game with the intent to cyber bullying innocent players are the ones that should not be playing this game. They should not even be allowed the ability to communicate online period, until they learn to act like a decent human being. I've muted and reported too many players to not be textually aggressive whenever it comes to this topic.

I've been in fact bullied in-game before, and I've learned to deal with it by simply muting any players and go as far as reporting and blocking any users that HAVE ruined my games. I understand people who are toxic don't deserve to play this game at all and they're better off playing something else.
OP sounded really depressed because they mentioned this game was generally ruining their day due to some people bullying them. There is NO ONE forcing them to play this game in particular at all (God I hope OP isn't being forced to play this game). From what it looks like, OP has been playing their first two games after a month.
So, I thought it would be okay to just tell them to mute them in-game and disable all chat... and then told me they can't mute in the lobby as if they can't find the mute button...

Admittedly, I'd consider it a blessing if they were to add a mute feature to the pre-game lobby. Post game, you can leave as soon as the screen comes up, even sooner if you just close the game. But pre-game you're just kind of... stuck there.
Volibear support.

Not common to the current meta, but it's still a relevant pick in a sense that his kit still fulfills the demands of said roll. There are plenty of other champions that fall under that same rule, some even being considered a support as a sub-role, due to said rule.
Volibear has to walk into melee range to land his CC. He has no gap closers other than run fast. And his ult eats an entire wave of farm if not more. He is not an effective support.

I was trying to play one of the champs i knew how to, i dont play many of the support champs, Constantly giving me the role of support wont make me better at it, but riot doesn't seem to understand that, all it does is make me frustrated and stop playing league for the day

Our adc was was playing intoxicated, he was literally getting caught at everything, plus i wasnt able to chat for the first 10 min because my chat was bugged, plus i dont support very often, its not one of my greatest roles, UNLESS its with my friend playing adc
