Voice chat will Help so much to solve the LCS/SOLOQ problem

at least in high elo

Riot can't figure how to balance in lcs+soloq

voice chat will increase communication (again at least in high elo) champions like kha'zix or shaco will end up worse riot can buff them and as a result they will also become power in competitive

on the opposite, champions like tahm kench requieres too much communication he's too weak in soloq while being one of the most picked champion in lcs instead of buffing him in solo queue then bringing problems in pro voice chat will make him better now

so why are we forgetting the good part of voice chat in favor of "RIOT DONT DO IT MUH TOXICITY I DONT WANT TO TURN IT OFF"

It might close the gap between LCS and high elo solo queue, but I think it'd widen the gap between high elo solo queue and low elo solo queue even more.

Not that I'm complaining; I'm only Gold 2, but I don't really mind if Riot balances around the higher elos. But it could be a valid concern for some other players.

so delusional. Any high elo player that cared enough about communication would already be using one of the many FREE voice chat options. If anything it'll just widen the gap between low elo and high elo while barely doing anything between high elo and LCS

They wouldn't, no one used any voice chat option in my games meanwhile in 6k/7k dota games everyone uses voice chat and communicates

lol... low elo champions like xin zhao are already unviable in high elo it wouldn't change anything, many champions picked in high elo are extremely less powerful in low elo the most common ones being lulu and ivern

the only difference between high elo solo queue and LCS is the lack of communication, and if it's being solved then the balance won't be hard anymore

who said they care about communication? nobody cares about communication it's solo queue however if you give them an option to use voice chat right in front of their nose they will never say no to a button that can give informations why? because it's high elo, and everyone uses everything to win

Look at their ban rate compared to high elo look at ivern who's barrely banned when in high elo he doesn't get past champ select

they are way less effective than in high elo, that's why things like yasuo are banned more than them when yasuo is never picked in high elo or less picked than kled/fiora/renekton

Ivern doesn't requiere communication, things like tahm kench does Ivern only needs great teammates and people knowing what his kit does which is the case in high elo
