Why is darius Q so forgiving?

so answer me this, why is his Q still treating it as if he hit with the head, even when he clearly didn't?

The blade is it's own individual hitbox outside of the weapon it's self, R won't reset unless the blade actually lands in the champion and it's the same for his Q, if his blade doesn't touch you then it won't heal

You're welcome to record it and find some video footage of it being janky but I'd much rather focus on those Lux ultimates hitting me from Africa when I'm in England

riot can fix more then 1 champ in a patch, and it's just something iv'e started to noticed the more i play against darius, that his Q is too forgiving

I'd argue that it's actually not forgiving enough in many circumstances (the telegraphed time needs to scale down to zero through out the game for an instant q), but in all fairness, an ability like it should not cause damage or apply effects if the head of the axe clearly, visually, does not connect with the opponent. If it's not, then that does need to be fixed. And the other guy compared it to Darius's R, but the two aren't comparable in this scenario. Darius's R will hit someone NO MATTER HOW FAR they moved between darius's cast time and the actual application of the ability. The only things that can stop it at that point are his death and some form of stasis/invulnerability of the target.

Otherwise, all cc is applied to darius after the ult is ended, and targets who flash outside of his range AFTER he casts his ultimate WILL be ulted on.

Darius's Q however, is not like that, so if it's hitting opponents when they visually aren't being hit, there is something wrong that needs to be addressed.

So show some evidence where this happens. With over 100k on Darius, I haven't encountered that once.

You haven't encountered what once? What he's said is accurate.

The Blade hitting without it supposed to hit.

Oh, well yeah. I've never seen that on the Q either. The hitbox on his axe is better than most.

Yes, but then we start talking about his E Interaction with Dashes and you can open another Thread, lul.

Yeah I haven't seen the Q hitbox issue either, I was merely saying that IF it's true, it should be addressed.

And yeah his pull is a little wonky at times lol

It's because the inner radius is very small. It's actually smaller than the outer portion.

the outer radius is 275-425 so it's 150

the inner radius is 0-275

so no this is wrong

I don't remember how is it to lane versus Darius, i've been banning him for like a month and i climbed easily and increased my win rate.
