2 out of 3 Just Doesn't Cut It

To climb this game anymore, you need to land on a hot streak and hope it last just long enough for a promotion.

After that, you just have to hope whatever loss streak that smacks you in the ass ends before you're dropped in rank...again.

I know my MMR is crap and that is my fault for attempting to do different things in rank, but I'm done with that now. And now I am just focused on repairing my MMR.

Win rate means nothing as long as you maintain above 50.

What it all boils down to is getting lucky and landing in 10+ good teams in a row.

You think solo carry is tough. It's becoming near impossible for 2 people to carry the weight of 3 others now.

You need at least one good ally and one ally who can, at the very least, not die every other minute over the dumbest crap.

It's reached the point that I've invented a new quote for myself in regards to these situations.

"I do not fear my enemies, I fear my allies."

I agree. I honestly never understood the whole "forced 50% win-rate" thing. If someone goes on a win-streak in a certain elo, I'd assume it's because they deserve to be winning. To punish them by putting them against much higher ranked teammates is counter intuitive. Does a silver 5 player not being able to beat a gold team somehow prove he doesn't deserve silver 4. Clearly they were winning quite a bit against Silver 4s, right?

Just an example there, but it really does annoy me.
