full AD darius is better than tanky darius.

for one reason. late game, tanky darius is worse than useless. he lands one or two hits, does no damage, and then gets kited to death.

full ad darius is amazing early game because you're giving him more damage to add onto his already huge damage pool from his abilities, and still relevant late game, as you can just play him as either as assassin or a split pusher. full AD darius MELTS adcs and tanks alike. sure it's hard for him to 1v2 or 1v3, but 1v1 he will absolutely decimate anyone. and in a 5v5? all darius has to do is wait till his team engages, run up the side/flash+e the adc and then w the adc and that's one person taken out of the fight almost immediately. a 400 ad darius with 30% lifesteal and triforce will not go down easily anyway unless you pick a bad fight, or the enemy team decides to completely focus on you. i've tested my full ad darius builds, and seriously, no one can fight him 1 on 1. in some cases if he's got enough items he can even 1v2 or 1v3 if he resets his ults correctly.

the biggest pro of full ad triforce darius though? insane waveclear/splitpushing. one w on an enemy turret with even 200 ad and a triforce is 700 damage done to the turret. he chunks turrets out for 1/5 of their hp on one measley w. and thats at 200 ad. at 300 or 400 he's doing up to 40% of the turret's life in ONE shot.

i don't get why everyone is so quick to follow what the pros do completely. the pros build those ways because its the only thing that works against OTHER PROS. i've beaten high golds with a full AD darius build just because of A.the ability to delete squishies, or B. the ability to take towers in less then 10 seconds.

all it takes to be a successful full AD darius is patience and the ability to farm against MOST matchups(teemo/quinn are two of the main exceptions to that rule.)
