In this new level up system, every level you get a capsule that has blue essence and a champion shard. As someone like many others who own every champion, why would I enjoy this? Why can't you just do what literally every single other game is doing these days with their loot boxes and give stuff like icons and skins too?

Zach xD2 votesAll the free shit that people get from these costs them money. You're playing a game that is free, they're correcting the system of gameplay being gated behind rune purchases, and throwing out freebies via hextech crafting and BE rewards via leveling.
Even if I thought it was stingy, giving me anything for free beyond the actual core game is a bonus to me.

That's the special BE store, and it will, at least as is planned currently, come back once a year. There will be a primary BE store that will have more than just champions.

DemainaNyx1 votesI don't know for sure, but I assume all ip based things will change to BE with the new system, so assuming you don't already own all the chromas, I'd assume you can buy the chromas with the BE. Not sure though, but I would assume that.
Plus you'll have all your champions up to Mastery 7 in no time. Think of how much emoting you can do (or don't do if you're like me).
