Can you please elaborate why are you nerfing cait base stats over and over? i dont think its a good idea to gut her base stats or her late game. (for those that dont know theres a nerf on pbe that halves her AS p/lvl gain)

There is absolutely no problem with cait late game and she already gets outdps by like every adc thats somewhat strong late game with the runnans nerf.

All that needs to happen is that her traps need a base damage reduction early game so you dont take over 200 damage at lvl 1 to them, it would tone down her lane a bit and make it not as punishing to clear a few traps very early on.

As it is you guys are dumpstering her base thats and its having no effect on her power, then eventually you'll nerf her traps and now we'll have a shit tier 40% win rate cait because the base stat nerfs wont be reverted.

Also i hope theres something planned for twitch and draven both are completely ridiculous (stronger than cait) and are not even being considered for nerfs for some reason.

Her traps are made for sieging? Her traps are made for defending and intelligent counterplay to bushes. They should not be the sole reason why she can take a tower or not. Removing how she can place them under the tower in a way where the enemy team cant see them because the angle of the tower blocks the vision is not some 'final blow' to her traps. Let me know how that goes mate. You do understand the issue is that at lvl 5 Cait can spam traps under your tower that you are supposed to be safe under in areas where you cant visibly see the traps because of spaghetticode and in between spamming headshots from that she will go in, auto you to proc a 2nd or 3rd headshot in a row on you and then e back before tower reacts to her and proc a 4th headshot on you.

This is the issue down here.

Now its 5 minute into the game and you just got chunked by someone for 1k hp with NO POSSIBLE COUNTERPLAY UNDER YOUR OWN TOWER.

Above this is the issue. Right there.

by traps you mean her headshot passive...

or you can make it so minons can triger them.. like EVERY OTHER champions has... so she cant just block the WHOLE LANE with them

Cait traps would be worthless if minions could step on them, they are made for sieging and it would kill that.

Her passive does like what 20~30 extra damage at lvl 1 on her auto?

You dont actually understand the actual issues with caitlyn atm, just like 99% of the boards here.

current traps: Headshot bonus damage changed to 30 / 70 / 110 / 150 / 190 (+ 70% AD) from 10 / 20 / 30 / 40 / 50% New Effect: Traps now display their area of effect range to Caitlyn.

New Effect: Trapped enemies take 10 / 20 / 30 / 40 / 50% multiplicatively increased damage from Headshot. Maximum number of traps increased to 3 / 3 / 4 / 4 / 5 from 3 at all ranks.

New Effect: Caitlyn's next attack against targets caught in a Yordle Snap Trap or slowed by 90 Caliber Net.png 90 Caliber Net gains 'double range' and is guaranteed to apply Headshot. These Headshots will not generate charges toward standard Headshots nor consume a stacked one.

New Effect: Bonus damage increased to 50% + (critical strike chance × 1 + (0.5 × bonus critical strike damage))% AD from (+ 50% AD)

so we got

double range on headshot 10-50% damage amp 30-190+ .7AD 3-5 traps root 1.5 min

from 80 damage + .6 ap root 50% armor pen + 50% ad 3 traps no damage amp 4 min

wanna know when cait traps WEREN'T an issue? Caitlyn ?
