Put J4's passive armor onto Golden Aegis

Having Demacian standard give Jarvan an attack speed steroid and a passive armor buff was a little much, I agree. people took him in the jungle because maxing this ability allowed him to clear jungle camps quickly, and safely. Not to mention a flag granting armor makes absolutely no sense. They were right to remove it.

However in an age where his jungle clear is mediocre and his late game is quite brittle. Wouldn't it be safe to give his armor back onto another ability?

Golden Aegis grants Jarvan a flat, non-scaling shield and a mediocre slow. It is generally the last thing J4 players level up. It used to be so bad mana cost wise that many J4 players wouldn't even bother putting a point into it.

by re-adding Jarvan's passive armour gains to his W, Golden Aegis will now have a bigger influence in how he will grow in the game. If you level it early, he'll become tankier, but his DPS or burst will suffer. If you level it last, his current weaknesses will remain he'll just get his old tanky power that he had in the late game, which wasn't very much but it made a difference.

Plus, the idea that Jarvan's ancestors are what passively protect him and can be activated to form a physical shield around him is pretty cool, and makes relatively more sense then a flag.

Pls no. If he gets buffed people will jungle him all the time and I won't get to take him mid.

I agree. I main him solo top, even before he was Fotm. But these changes will not help his jungling at all. jungle Jarvan players will still struggle in the jungle early. It just buffs his late game.
