After like 3 years, I've Finally had a 50 minutes match
And it was freaking amazing, it was intense, both teams could've won at any moment, this is what LoL used to be and how we loved it.

Agreed . Used to have 40+ minute matches in s3 on the regular. 50+ happened sometimes . 1hr+ was rare but it happened .
Now 10-15 mins in , games are decided and you wait for the other team to close up shop at the 25 - 30 minute mark tops.
Same. Had one 55 minute game not too long on irelia. Twas fuckin intense, i was complete done after that game but it was really fun and glorious i miss those games.
I'd rather play 3-4 of these intense 35-50+ minutes games a day where my skill actually matters and i can do stuff. Than 8 or 9 games where jungle diff or bot diff decides the game in 10 minutes and i'm basically a bystander just watching the enemy and begging that they release me and just finally end it.
My last game was 46 minutes and super intense.
Couldn't kill the enemy darius, but trynd bd'd
But then we were group fighting, but then we werent, but we were, but then we weren't.
Then more back dooring.
Then they forgot about winions, and supers got their base.
I have 40+ mins games always.. like 1/2 or 1/3 of games are long enough to last for 40mins+
And it is not good... The game reaches the unbalanced point at around ~35mins. After that everything becomes luck and very unbalanced.. if theg ame reaches ~50min mark it starts to lag and every mistake counts as loss..
Not gonna say that its not fun, but the good game is decided in ~35mins or so.
A 50 minute game sounds like torture, and from the looks of Cait, Nasus, and Morgana's scores it was a long and boring torture.
I have 40 minutes here and there. I haven't had a hour game in..... I cannot even remember.

Im surprised your team's team comps allowed a 50minute game to happen honestly. Even more so that the Nasus team didn't win a 50m game, lol. Congrats, I also miss them style games :(
Honestly, it is way more likely to have a URF match to last 50 minutes than having a normal/ranked game last that much
surprised this went on for so long AND that you won. full item ekko and kha just 1shot anything and nasus will 1shot towers with his q lol. but well cait not even having 4 items complete after 50min is most likely the reason why shit went down.
no idea how you managed to get away with only 9 deaths AS ADC against a kha thats so fed, that even looking in his direction should kill you. well played
My last placement match was lost despite early game lead, because:
Top decided to afk push sidelane bc "No GaNk" despite winning his own lane Jungle rq Support decided he knew when a game is lost better than anyone else in all of LoL and wanted to perma ff.
At 20 min all 3 of them disconnected and I was alone with my duo.
Riot has trashed down the game into a 15 min win or lose scenario and dumbed people so hard into thinking that any single mistake equals losing the game. It's become a mentality to not want to play out games anymore for some people, which is fucking sad.
