Does Deathfire Touch apply Grevious wounds from Morellonomicon?

GaleWinUnleashed1 votesAs far as I'm aware, Deathfire Touch does not do anything but apply magic damage. No spell effects, nothing. I can at least confirm it does not apply Rylai's or Liandry's.
Bonipherus1 votesmorellonomicon says grievous wounds is applied through magic damage. Deathfire is magic damage so I'd say yes in this case. So that means a thornmail's damage would apply gw as well I suppose.
