Well, he's talking about 2v2ing, which means early lane which if Taric is auto attacking you twice at level 3 then the stun damage is the last thing to worry about honestly.

The reason it got changed was because Taric felt really passive in lane. For a support he relied heavily on others in order to make his plays successful. So they decided to buff his E so that when he is able to land it you actually feel.
Taric is supposed to be weak early because his kit is really strong but that off set meant that you couldn't do anything early.

King of Demons2 votesNot after his Q buff. You want to have 3 ranks in Q at level 5 to make use of your passive. They changed E stun to not increase per rank. You only gain damage and 1 second lower cooldown by leveling up E, His W gets a higher hp and armor ratio.
So after 6 you can put more points into whatever you want honestly
AfterTheFall1 votesit's literally his only form of damage in his kit. It's perfectly balanced to have his one damaging ability do more than most. If he had 2-3 damaging abilities, then yes it might be too much. But since hes only got the one, it makes sense that it should do a little more
