The QOL buff was nice, but MF still needs more. (With tips on how to make her work until then.)

I think we can all agree that Miss Fortune is not in a "healthy" state at the moment. She's currently only one notch above Quinn in terms of being viable as an ADC, which is really bad considering the fact that Quinn is not viable as an ADC.

Pre Bilgewater Event, Miss Fortune was extremely clunky to play with her Q being extremely unreliable. So unreliable in fact, that despite how it was configured, if they configured it to just be random, it would work about the same as it did. Post Bilgewater Event, Miss Fortune is a lot less buggy and her passive is more reliable (not saying much), and her Q is actually pretty good now, but she lost her unique niche as an anti-healer ADC. So while in terms of quality of life she's leagues ahead of where she was, she's still essentially in the same place in terms of power. In order for any type of real change in order to get Miss Fortune to being an actually "healthy" champion again, she needs more.

Here's how you properly fix MIss Fortune.

  • Remove minion and monster aggro disabling her passive at level 11 (instead of having to rush Bloodthirster like she has to now).

  • Lower the base scalings of the initial target on her Q down to 12 / 24 / 36 / 48 / 60, but up the AD scaling to 100%. The second shot's scaling gets upped to 120%. Still remains 150% if the first shot kills.
  • Reduce Double Up's cast time with attack speed.

  • Add magic penetration per level of Impure Shots (2 / 4 / 6 / 8 / 10). Increase the attack speed scaling to 30 / 40 / 50 / 60 / 70%. Revert the cooldown reduction back to 16 seconds. Lower it by one second on damage from basic attacks and Double Up while the active is up.

  • Reduce the scaling of Impure Shots down to 5%, have the scaling increase per level of Bullet Time by 1%, and allow the magic damage to be able to crit.

  • Change Bullet Time's scalings to 55 / 85 / 115. Lower the cooldown to 120 / 105 / 90.

With these changes, you turn Miss Fortune into an ADC unlike any other in League. A burst AD caster lane bully that transitions into a hybrid damage duelist and utility ADC late game.

Until this happens, here's how to make her work:

  • Take barrier instead of heal. This allows you to keep her passive up if you need to chase with your W, or escape.
  • Rush the big damage items first. While she's a duelist late game, early game she's more of an AD caster. Use the attack reset on her Q to your advantage.
  • Take Triforce over Statik Shiv. While Statik Shiv gets you the crits, Triforce gets you raw damage, and your Q won't just be an empty poke ability late game.
  • Try to stack your Impure Shots before you ult. By itself Bullet Time doesn't do a whole lot of damage. On fully scaled targets however, it can do upwards of 800 damage at level 11.

It would be nice if there was a way to keep track of how many stacks she has on people without actually clicking on them.

It seems like just about every other champ has some visual feed back (Ekko, Tahm, Vayne, Darius, etc.) so they can tell how many stacks they have up. It would be a QoL change for mf, and would help determine when to use your ult.

No no, Quinn is better than MF.

I don't see the point in this, Miss Fortune actually is pretty healthy. She's strong and you can carry with her, but you can also shut her down if you play right. She isn't overloaded, overpowered, underpowered, broken, or gimped.

Right now I don't think Miss Fortune by any means needs a buff and nor do I feel she's a mediocre pick. As for your tips to make her work, no offence, but they're pretty poor and would probably hurt you negatively.

My standard build for Miss Fortune is : item 3031 item 3046 item 3046 item 3035 item 3072 item 3026

The tips to playing her, that I see a LOT of Miss Fortune players never do;

  • Abuse her ridiculously strong Q poke
  • Don't ever spam your E or use it for damage, use it for slows or checking brushes
  • Never buy Essence Reaver, Trinity Force, Statikk Shiv, or Gunblade
  • Abuse her ability to 1v1 basically anyone early game
  • Don't be afraid to use her ultimate in a duel
  • Use her AA > Q > AA combo, her Q is an INSTANT auto attack reset like Sivir's, but it also does damage itself
  • Only build Black Cleaver if your team has other AD users too
  • Only build Infinity Edge or Bloodthirster as your first items

What bugs me the most is that Q doesn't prioritize champions on the bounce making it nearly impossible to actually line up shots because for it to be a hit you as a enemy champ you literally have to stand right behind a minion enough so to make it pregnant or else it hits his buddy next to him if the shot bounce at all.

I would not mind them lowering the dmg or bounce range if it is able to actually hit champs.

It actually does this now. With the new Q AI it always prioritizes enemies directly behind the target. Which means that if there's a champion closer to the minion than another minion, the champion will get hit.

Trust me, her Q AI is fine now. Going from that atrocious targeting pre VU to a more focused approach is night and day. I'm literally not exaggerating when I said that her old Q might as well have been coded as a random target. It was so fucking unreliable. Now you can tell where it's going to go for the most part.

Thats true, but to me its just seems like a unresponsive Lucien Q without the wave clear. Yes, its an auto attack reset and its very rewarding when it actually lands, but it could be better as it is easier for lucien to land a Q than a MF to land a Q.

Honestly other than fixing the 'Q doesn't prioritize champions' thing, I love the new MF and I think if you can get the ball rolling she's very viable.

Only thing I want to see is Strut Removed and Q changed to be similar to a Lissandra Q (minus the crowd control).

If you are taking Statik Shiv as Miss Fortune, you are doing it wrong. You will want to spend most of the time auto attacking and Phantom Dancer does that much better than SS or Triforce.
