I close the client and restart my computer.

I check task manager, in all processes. No instances of league are running.
I close the client and make sure all league processes are killed.
I run the Hextech Repair Tool and use it to Force a Repatch.
The repair tool gathers all the logs successfully.
When it gets to the Flushing DNS stage, an error pops up from Windows.
-"Chromium Embedded Framework (CEF) Client Application has stopped working."
Closing this message forces the Repair Tool to close.
Rinse, wash repeat. Windows 8.
