"placing an azir soldier in the correct place doesn't make a champion have a high skill ceiling."
Micro management of mechanics like cait traps, go barrels, and azir soldiers are things that increase a champions skill cap. Learning to position them around yourself, then learning around your enemies, then around your teammates, then your enemies, then your enemies reaction to teammates, etc all play a big part in the skill cap of a champion. This is why high tier lck players can play azir while average NA challenger players can't play him anywhere near as well-he's all about micro managing his soldiers, generally around what the enemy wants to accomplish. Caitlyn traps are a similar and toned down version of that.
Compare her to other adcs like ashe, mf, and ezreal. What do they have to worry about besides simple positioning to maximize dps and stay alive?
