Fucking 9th game with this, after 4 more promo attempts. It's fucking retarded already. How in the world can I promo, please guys I need help. How the fuck do I get out of this ELO hell if the system wants to keep me here
Solicitude2 votesI dont think ELO hell is real. All these years i play i never played ranked, except for some games with friends. But i started this year and i made it from silver 4 to platinum 5 in around a weak, considering some days that i didnt play.

Solicitude1 votesIm not. I actually believe that my mechanics are hardly a match for my current rank. But i didnt get my rank only through my skill. Its more because of my game knowledge. Knowing when to be aggressive or defensive in my lane, when i should fight and when not, when to go for objectives and a lot more things. Even if you dont have god-like mechanics, game knowledge can get you a long way. Also, try to play simple and easy champions, they can be strong and they are easier to climb out of silver. And dont forget. Always buy pink wards and use your trinkets.

Solicitude1 votesI used to play some ranked with friends, but at best i would stop playing ranked after 1-2 games after my promos, if i even finished those.
Now, that i actually decided on my own to play ranked, i always play solo. So i got to plat 5 on my own. The "with friends" "key-word" doesnt really mean anything.
Ozzie Storm1 votesin that case your're the one who got lucky and not the other way around. I've been playing for years, just didn't bother playing ranked untill this year. Long and behold the ammount of stupidity and bs i see every game. People going to farm when we just got baron, adc standing in the frontline, people wandering around in jgl with no vision...etc. are just some of MANY examples i have to face every game. and that's beside the usuall trashtalking, afk, feeders...etc.
Hoping for somewhat of a climb but congrats nontheless.
Solicitude1 votesTrust me, thrashtalking and feeding are very common in higher elo too, at least platinum. Actually, ive seen more toxic players and more feeding in plat 5 than i saw in both silver and gold.

I underpreformed as a xerath because i got cheesed agains a Zed who saved his ult for me everytime and a camping Kha'Zix, rushed zonyas and still my team failed to save me despite being in the backline doing my job. Yeah we lost because of a quitter. Try all you want, elo hell exisis and the ammount of ragequitters and cowards in this game is just absurd

soccermom83921 votesMaybe you aren't fully using the things you watch in videos, like you watch them but don't take them in and actually use the information or use it correctly. With just okay mechanics, decision making, shotcalling, and macro play you should be able to climb out of silver without too much issue. Wave management is very important and knowing your recall timing is also very important as well. So maybe just try to figure out the correct times to back and how to manage minion waves a little better. In the end that should help you climb a lot :D good luck have fun!
