Rule #17 Don't Be a Hero
It feels like no one ever wants to just play safe anymore. Had a ranked game yesterday that was very close. We picked off a couple of people and decided to make a rush for baron. In my head, I thought it'd be a great idea to then recall, regroup, and push down bot (mid inhib was already down). My Kassadin, instead of waiting for his team sees an enemy alone (this is late game, they're never alone) went in, obviously got collapsed on, then raged and asked why we didn't follow up with him. Instead of simply grouping, pushing as a team to take another inhib, he decided to make a risky play which in turn cost us the game.
Another game I had a sylas who just kept repeatedly dying to Katarina over and over until she got fed enough to just full on dive me and my adc bot. Morgana would throw a blackshield on her and we'd both be dead within 3 seconds. Instead of realizing he was losing lane hard and play defensively, build defensively, he just kept raging, attempting to rush a Morello, and blaming our jungler for not helping him (mind you, their jungler was not camping him, he died to kata 1v1).
It seems all people want to do is fight fight fight and attempt to make that one "game-changing" play instead of grabbing objectives and playing the game as a team. Climbing sucks.
