Look, Riot. Eve's kit isn't the most healthy, or at least in your eyes. We get it. It's clear you don't want Eve with her current kit to be viable.

Runeglaive, which was Eve's primary enchant, got nerfed so now the magic pen AP bruiser build also got gutted since now the proc won't change the first strike of Evelynn's E back into magic damage. And now, you're gutting her Q so that it does less damage at level 4 or as soon as level 7 compared to season 4. You know, when Evelynn had literally a 40% winrate?

When you nerf Evelynn, must you make her obsolete for months every. Single. Time? Even other "toxic" champions aren't nerfed so bad they're nigh unplayable. Even if you don't like Eve's kit that's still not fair.

How is this relevant to anything. The discussion is about Evelynn, who was fine until this patch. Whatever is going on with other AP junglers has nothing to do with her.

Evelynn has always been on the fringe of jungling. In essence, it's more a question of why are the other junglers so much better than her. Runeglaive (which is in the original topic) was designed to help AP junglers (this includes Evelynn). However, with things like cinderhulk (for awhile) and sated devourer (now), there are significantly better junglers. Because of the devourer enchant, it might be time to switch Evelynn over onto AD bruiser status.

The system has also moved into a more tanky meta and free pink wards (via a 250 gold upgrade at level 9) have significantly curtailed the effectiveness of Evelynn. If you can't win with tanky, you win with CC, Evenlynn doesn't really have that. She's a sneak attack jungler, better to get your team fed early and hope they can carry you. As time evolves, people realize that pushing lanes hard can result in Eve counter ganks. I think it's a combination of things. I still do well on Eve (lolskill), but she's not a beast.

Finally, if you watch the little interviews they have about the patches, they make note that all AP junglers just aren't seeing what they need via items or buffs anymore.

Thus, your post which contains little to no detail, is hard to decipher. Why was Evenlynn fine until this patch? You should provide more conclusive proof of your statement.

ya, its getting really frustrating when riot constantly nerfs her into the ground. they need to fucking rework either her or rework stealth mechanics/detection already.

i wouldnt have cared so much if it was only runeglaive that got nerfed since i could have just switched back to full AD builds, but since they ALSO nerfed her Q it means her AD build also got hit.

whats a even bigger slap in the face is that they give fucking fiora max health TRUE DAMAGE but they wont give eve her max health ult back. i swear the balance team has no idea what they are doing.

I don't see any point complaining about what Riot does to the champion. They never answer regarding these topics no matter what is stated. In the end, you're the consumer, and you're going to play their game regardless if they gut your favorite champion.

regardless of rather or not its a free to play game, WE KEEP THE GAME ALIVE simply by playing it or buying skins. this is a fact. we have every right to complain about things and riot has made changes if we complain hard enough.

the problem is that eve has been a issue since 2010. 5 years. doesnt even have that many good skins. its about time they actually do something to her.

What a stupid response. It is a matter of realism, and fact of the matter is this, LoL is too large to fail.

Doesn't really matter. Again, LoL is too large a franchise to fail. Being f2p means people will come back cause hey, its free. People love free. Second, they make a massive profit, losing an extremely small minority over a champion, particularly a champion whom the mass majority hate, is not an issue.

There is no point to complaining and whining about it. We can still do so, it won't change. You can type til your fingers bleed. Won't change.

Ultimately Riot will change her and other champions when they see fit.

AP and CDR is better than magic penetration for Evelynn anyway, and you don't have to care much about base damage if your ability does 80% of its damage because of its scaling. Eve is fine. Buy Full AP and you won't have to complain about base damage nerfs.
