The only slightly optimal path now is running electrocute and being forced into full lethality Assassin Riven.

(Cheesing out lane with aerie too I guess but that doesn't scale well...)

Without Fervor bruiser Riven does nothing, and press the attack is honestly awful because of her spell weaving, after she actually manages to stack the thing her Cooldowns are all up and she has to back off.

As well losing the 10% early game CDR also feels absolutely awful and it takes ages now to reach the CDR cap on a champ that relies on that to operate.

Riven is not suppose to be a bruiser and assassin. She is either a bruiser or an assassin. Choose one. Her kit is very strong for her being manaless/energyless so you should stop whining and thank riot for not nerfing her or giving her energy.

Problem is she is forced into being an assassin. She use to be more versatile pre-rune rework. These new runes indirectly nerfed her, since fervor is no longer here, she gets butt-fucked by tanks. Her early game is little to non-existent pre-15 minutes top lane.
