Because he's not some cutesy yourself burst Mage none of the dedicated circlejerk gets riot to talk about buffs and adjustments for him

Kass got hit, ppl demanded changes And had several threads on how to fix him just like with Veigar

Morde got gutted and nobody on here or reddit even gave a shit. Feels like this happens to literally every bruiser

This is why top laners are always angry. Nobody gives a shit. No wonder all of them hang around in GD now.

They gutted his health regen They destroyed his ghost bonuses They obliterated his W damage and scaling

But they added 60 Very conditional MS man "compensation"

Oh please "Gutted" Yeah okay not every damn nerf means gutted. I have played the old and new Mordekaiser, he is currently played more often, and a lot of people aren't complaining because get this, they are actually content with the changes.

Giving him straight buffs would have made him broken, reworking his ult, and giving his W that sweet sweet new ability to apply to himself and 1 other, his ult giving more relevant stats now, Mordekaiser has no problems outside of being immobile, he is hard as hell to beat out of lane, and you don't notice the health regen nerf, or the health costs on his abilities, I spam the shit out of his abilities pre 6 with no problems.

He is fine.

He isn't any weaker then before. Lower costs on abilities, lower health regen, Improved W, focused ult. Better passive.

He lost some things to his kit yes, but he really hasn't gotten weaker.

Yer I am also very sad about Morde's change, to the point it's one of the biggest reason why I am even considering quitting LoL entirely (I will wait for max 2 patches more to see how things are going and if it's not to my liking that'll be it). I have been stressing about how I am so not with the Morde change the past few days actually.

He got nerfs straight across the board which, destroyed his "pusher" identity, hp cost reduction in the wrong places, early game gutted. New W deals no damage, doesn't stack damage, pointless overly situational mobility and IT DOESN'T FIT HIS CHARACTER!

They are giving him 1 small plus so that makes taking away 3 big points is totally justified right? Why would you even consider nerfing him when he is already in that state in the first place? What are you, Lee SIn?

Honestly I think the reason people are quite about Morde is more the fact, what is he? Veigar is (or was) a burst mage. Kass was a mobile anit-mage. Morde was just... a walking thing that did AP dmg with a shield. When a champion doesn't have a defined role/theme it's hard for people to care/understand. Also it's easier to see nerfs to Veigar/Kass with the removal of instant stun or ranged on an ult. Morde... well his numbers changed. He's up there for the reason I am scared shitless about the Poppy rework. But I think Morde as a champion is kind of a lost cause to Riot at the moment.
