Ikr, idk why people downvoted you. Syndra has to set up her stun, and she was barely played a little whole ago but NOW she's a big problem. To even get good damage on her ult she has to set up a bunch of spheres.

And for some reason people don't realize this. Ult has a long casting time and does damage per sphere, not all at once so it's incredibly easy to see it coming and use it but can't afford a Zhonyas so you die 5 times. Syndra has a long range stun? Don't even get cleanse, let me take ignite. She specializes in single target deletion with her ultimate? Still stays in lane with low health.

Nope, a 3 Syndra sphere ult wouldn't dent them if you don't bring them down to 40% health first. It's basically an execute move you use at the end of your combo because without spheres the ult does 0 damage. Syndra players are supposed to save their ult for the squishy targets they can blow up, like a lot of other mages.

Ok first the stun isn't off screen, and even if you have 2-3 of them they will still go the same distance as having just one sphere, they would go through eachother and wouldn't like "bounce off" of eachother to go a further distance. If you keep spamming the spheres, you're going to go OOM and her being squishy makes her an easy target for a tower dive when her stun is down. Just position yourself so you don't get stunned by not standing in front of spheres, and sidestepping all spheres that she puts on you. Btw, the spheres will last for like 6 seconds and the cooldown is 3 seconds so she will only have 2 spheres?

I dunno who you're quoting so I have no context, but Syndra received some changes during this season's Mage update? So no she hasn't been like "that" since 2012.

Except those changes have no effect on her early game and comments like "Omigud she 1shut muh at leva 6" are the most common.
