Just gonna have to wait for the dust to settle on this one before he becomes available fo actual play.

Because to play him the following conditions have to be met outside of Blind picks.

  1. Neither team bans him.
  2. The enemy does not first pick him.
  3. You have an earlier pick than an ally or an ally is willing to pick him for you and doesn't fuck you over when it comes to trading champions.
  4. No one dodges the queue.
  5. The game is NOT a remake.

When the heavenly bodies align and the elemental powers that be combine in your favor...then and only then may you attempt to play Sett.

Riot, do us all a favor and refrain from ever again making new champions free prizes for players who just happen to play the game.

This is the outcome regardless if people get the champion as a Gift. Same thing will happen within the next 2-3 months when Fiddlesticks is released upon the world, he'll either be banned or prioritized by other players in the lobby.

You'll just have to try and try again until you eventually get Sett. Eventually he'll SETTle in & his hype will die down, which will mean you'll get him a little more often.
