And in turn lower the damage on his kit a tiny bit? Jarvans problem is hes played as a cheezy one shot jungler rather than a disruption tank. Adding the armor back would encourage the tanky playstyle and to max his E first.
The armor was only removed because at the time Aegis of the Legion was insane (Giving you a total of a 45 armor aura) but it's not a problem anymore.

48983507DEL11 votesNo, the armor aura was removed because, at the time, J4, Lee Sin, and Warwick were the only ones who could survive the jungle with a decent amount of health. This is back at the beginning of Season 5 when they redid the Jungle, making it very deadly for most common Junglers.
Now that the likes of Graves and Nidalee exist, he should get the armor back. He's extremely squishy early on as a Jungler now.

The armor AURA was removed around Feral Flare era, muuuuuch longer back than season 5. Pretty much early season 3. so there were plenty of good junglers back then. The PASSIVE armor is what you are thinking of. That said, I agree that Graves and Nidalee basically have that same armor gain.
