I slowly realized that all of the gold generation items in this game have been either removed for given to supports. Why has riot taken away the option for farm heavy champs to buy that investment in order to reach their late game sooner especially with how games are shorter than they used to be. All we have left is Cull.

Mysticman891 votesReplaced by nomads medallion, frostfang, and relic shield respectively, and they weren't exactly recent replacements.
Frostfang line is still built by some mages occasionally (especially since FQC isn't disabled by minion kills), and occasionally the coin line is built by top laners who are prone to excessive bullying (or I guess nasus gets it for the early cdr).
Cull is explicitly designed for farm heavy people wanting to get to their late game sooner, so it'd be somewhat redundant to have more options on top of that.
Pupel1 votesCull only makes you 230 gold profit. Relic shield and Coin only work if you are not csing. FQC does work for making money for AP after you sink the money into it but I would like to see something like Heart of Gold come back that has gp10 with tank states so people like 
can scale up in these shorter games
