Pink wards wont detect invisibility in S7

Honestly, I was okay with the sweeper being removed, as it made it almost impossible for those champs to do any real "damage', let alone, be a threat at all. (just my opinion, though.)

However, what I don't get is why they're removing the "vision" from Vision Wards. As it stands, right now, Vision Wards are the only way to combat "Stealth Champions". More notably, Shaco and Evelynn. The only way to keep them (or, try to keep them) from ganking you is by placing a Vision Ward in their jungle, or somwhere within their jungle pathing. And even that isn't 100% safe.

I usually use Vision Wards as a means to defend against Vayne's and Twitch's bot lane (as the support, that is), so that my adc can fight on equal footing if either of the two decided to go stealth on us. Just drop Pink and fight on.

Hell, the Vision Ward doesn't even truly help against Rengar because by the time the Pink Ward sees him, he's already damn-near on top of you.

Placing the Ward against Akali doesn't do much because of her jumps, so meh. But, for Kha'Zix, it cuts some of his power, by deleting the extra damage from his Passive (at least, I think it does.)

I'm just really lost as to why they'd just outright remove the counter to stealth and only saying "We don’t want such an impactful mechanic to be so easily countered".

Does that mean there are OTHER counters to stealth? Because they used the phrase "easily countered". [Emphasis on "easily"]

If there ARE other counters to stealth, we sure as hell have not been informed of it.

And, also, they said "This allows for more a more consistent environment in which to balance stealth champions."

So, does that mean that "Stealth", as a mechanic can only truly be balanced when it has absolutely no counter? (Assuming Vision Wards was the only counter.)

If any of this information I've provided is idiotic, please enlighten me. I genuinely want to know whether I'm wrong about this whole "Vision Ward Removal" thing, because to me, it seems pretty stupid.

Wow, I cant believe they are doing that. I love shaco etc - but if towers are the ONLY true vision in the game then thats going to be a huge problem because those are the only champs people will pick - if they introduce 10 bans I will sure be banning one of them every game.

That or I will only play at tower.

This only affects Akali, Khazix, and Vayne. Everyone else will still be revealed by pink wards.

there are champions u can pick to counter stealth ie: lee sin, tf, corki. but that only applies in ranked if ur counterpicking. in normals and first pick etc ur basicly screwed if theres a vayne.
