He was oppressive for a different reason. He could come to lane with a Faerie Charm and whatever the maximum amount of Mana Potions you could buy at the time was. From there he'd just spam E until he got an advantage and attempt to snowball it. Since the changes, he's more pressed for mana unless he goes Corrupting Potion. But that doesn't really fill the gap they left by removing the potions in the first place.

yorick has a small mana pool in early game, his spells costs a tons of mana especially his W/E which are ranged, the early damage of his gouls are also shit, his mana regen is shit and bottle has been removed. He needs at least item 3028 + item 3070 to be oppressive he also can't use thunderlord's decree

zed doesn't have mana, his Q does 100 damage at lvl 1, his E does 80 damage at lvl 1 all of this with just a long sword +some ad runes. his Q cd is 6 seconds, the poke of zed is actually one of the unhealthiest of league because manaless champs should not have poke according to xypherous.

so yea, this combined to thunderlord i expect riot to nerf zed's Q/E in early game once the item makes it to live.

and heimer, there is a thread about heimer written by a heimer's main stating how oppressive he is with thunderlord.

You have no idea how to use yorick huh? That's understandable Buying a manamune and frozen gauntlet=infinite mana, and you can auto attack for cs, q being cheap as hell

Yeah, a good yorick gets a tear at 7 minutes if feeding Then you just keep gaining mana, keep conserving it by poking when they approach and try to trade. get a manamune or pickaxe at worst second back, then complete manamune (record manamune for me, a b2 player, is 7:42, tear at 3:24) Next up you buy sheen or its components+cloth armor Complete frozen gauntlet next back, and start working on a cleaver for 40% cdr, you should get a phage next time you back(as its now teamfighting phase) Want me to continue?

I know zed and dinger can be frustrating to lane against, but you can't just make up imaginary champs to help your point. You are clearly just ripping names off Shakespear scripts and expecting us to be too uneducated to notice. >.>

A good Yorick is so much more oppressive than Heimerdinger or Zed. A good one. Also, what do you mean he can't use Thunderlord's? I don't believe it is disabled on him or anything.

The reason Yorick is stupid to deal with is his sustain is off the chain from a range. It's just way too good. Buying just about any mana item will also cure his mana issues.

his gouls doesn't apply thunderlord, while heimer's turet, zyra's plant, and any pet applies it

Of all the reasons Yorick is in an unhealthy state, this is your biggest issue to complain about?

Yorick can easily proc Thunderlords with W+E+Q or AA. Whether or not his ghouls proc it makes barely any difference as to how effective of a champ he is. His ghouls are independent units, like Shaco's boxes, so there's no inherent need for him to have it in the first place

Seriously, I would be so pissed to hear that any work toward Yorick on Riots part was going toward a gimmick that makes next to no difference in his flawed playstyle, rather than the long-awaited rework just about every Yorick enthusiast has been waiting for.
