Rework Critical Chance Formula to be more consistent and allow play around it

We all know the feel of getting wrecked in a 1v1 because the enemy has 50% crit and crit you three times in a row. I have an idea to change it to be more consistent

First, you remove crit runes to balance the formula. Nobody likes when people run 1% crit anyway.

Second, there is now a formula for crit chance. You are now limited to an amount of crits in X amount of hits. And the longer you go without getting a crit, the odds increase of getting one until the last hit, if you havent gotten a hit, have a guaranteed crit.

This brings more consistency and allows people to play around crit chance.

If the enemy has 20% crit and you see they critted, you can now go in seeing youll be likely to be safe from crits for a while.

Whereas if you are tracking your hits and see your last hit is a crit, you can go for harass and crit them.

I think having this system would be a much healthier way of keeping crit in the game.

Crit is already psuedo RNG.

You litterally just described the way Crit currently works.

It isn't though.

If this was true you could not crit 3 times in a row with 50% chance.

You just had 3 people tell you the same thing. I'd do some more research if I were you.

You could crit 3 times in a row either way, the chance just isn't likely for both.

This is how crit works now

I don't think you legit understand how crit works, you literally just described the crit system, but then proceeded to take your logic a totally different way. The crit system works by selecting a random number everytime you auto attack. If that number is below your crit chance, you crit. Now if you don't crit, the game works out some complex af formula that alters your crit chance so you're slightly more likely to get a crit on your next auto attack. If you crit, then the algorithm lowers your crit chance. This all happens in code btw, it doesn't actually show up in game on your UI.
