What's the point in picking a carry when a tank out damages you

This should not be happening, at no point should a tank be winning a trade with a carry.

Your kit has WAY too much damage, if without a single damage item your rotation does half of my health, while mine does a third of yours.

I spent ALL of my gold on damage and i should be doing damage, you spent NONE of yours on damage so you shouldn't have ANY

Bruisers should be a cross between the two and they are

but Ekko Zac Renekton RekSai Shen Shyvana Maokai DrMundo should not be winning trades EVER

Tanks should be consisted of buffs, mobility, cc, and engagement tools with sticking capabilities to stay a threat.

They shouldn't be a threat because they can 1v1 your carry and win, this is fucking retarded. I built damage, You didn't, we should come out either DEAD EVEN in trades, 50% for 50% or the damage is on top. You didn't pay for damage, you don't get any.

There's zero fucking point in picking Jayce Olaf Tryndamere Kayle when tanks match your damage, and heal back up the health they lost in 10 seconds

looking at you Nasus

(Note this is not a nasus rant, it's a tank rant)

  1. the ability to siege turrets.
  2. the damage to baron and drakes.
  3. the ability to splitpush.
  4. the stupid amount of damage you actually still deal, even if you cant 1v1 a tank on an adc. youll still deal more damage than them with a peeling support.

and half of the champions you posted arent even tanks. theyre bruisers.

Building sunfire, rod of ages, or ice born does not make you a bruiser. Bruisers devote half their build to damage and half to tank, Darius is a good example. Building Black Cleaver, another AD item, and 3 tank items.

Most tanks can still siege turrets fairly easily

Turrets are so hilariously weak late game anyone can split push

I have no idea how you can look at Renekton or Rek'Sai and say to yourself, "That's a tank, not a bruiser."

... They are called "carries" for a reason...

You have to carry them through the early game. Then from mid-late game they start to itemize, and their damage scales up. Then they "carry" you. Tanks doing more damage early is necessary and reasonable -its what makes the game interesting.

Since the 6.9 patch many mages are doing "bonkers" damage, even in the early game. I have no clue what you are crying about.

A lot of the champions you mentioned are primary fighters who could be classified potentiality as Juggernauts.

The primary Fighters: DrMundo Shyvana Renekton Nasus RekSai (Nasus and Mundo are the original Juggernauts though from what I understand)

The primary Tanks: Shen Maokai

Then there is Ekko who is a secondary fighter but primarily an Assassin. This doesn't mean he can't be built like a tank or fighter though.

No, just no. Carries are more popular than tanks as is (no-tank teams happen in mid-elo all the time. No-adc teams are... almost non-existent), they do not need to be even weaker vs. carries. Tank also spends his gold on combat items, they're just defense, not offense. Damage has more non-champion-combat uses than defense (look at post above mine), so if carry loses 1v1 to tank at equal gold it is balanced.

Tank will do less absolute damage than carry. But relative to opponent's health in tank vs. carry 1v1? I don't see a problem of it being heavily in tank's favor. This is talking pure damage, utility can be taken into account, but that's a different conversation
