Why are we complaining about Akali and the like, when this exists?

Zyra is pretty annoying, but the reason she's scarcely complained about is because she's not highly mobile in addition to having CC and damage. She also doesn't have any overbearing mechanics like true stealth that people dislike fighting. Her plants are annoying, but honestly they just boil down to being a damage spell.

Because mages are what everyone and their mother abuses here on boards, so they are not going to complain about that.

They are broken as hell yes.

Because people don't believe riot will let zyra stay strong for multiple patches without addressing her whether or not she is discussed.

This is what happens when you introduce even more damage to bot lane.

Honestly if Riot just went back to pre-rework Zyra I'd be happy.

If we're talking about broken kits only, and botlane specifically, then we'd only be talking about Pyke and his ridiculous safety.

Zyra's issues are less about her kit and more about runes reforged that allow her to do so much damage now. She's not mobile and she doesn't have escapes, so she isn't as oppressive past the laning phase bot.

Mage supports in general being hyper oppressive is a big problem bot. Even if they were nerfed, there'd still be an issue about how often bot lane is ganked and how little counter pressure is present for the lane that does get ganked.

Shouldn't you be off saying Irelia is OP or something?

It sucks that she was considered a bad pick for so long and is only now seen as meta so people are comparing her to Akali levels of op...

• She's completely immobile and one of the slowest champions in the game.
• Any assassin can delete her from the game.
• Mobile ADCs deny her early kills and can completely starve her laning phase.
• fills the same role as Zyra.
• dunks on her
• Her burst potential drops significantly mid-late game unless she has snowballed.
• She is oppressive in lane, but that's how she has always been.
• Any bot lane comp that can deny her burst combo will outscale her.
• Her damage is only now coming to par with the amount she did pre-rework.

She's still an immobile glass cannon. She is just more dangerous than she has been since her rework thanks to QoL changes, runes reforged, and her core items being buffed.
