salty about buffing 45% win rate lux, 45% win rate nasus

salty about buffing champions for lcs, nerfing champions for lcs that also happens to destroy d1 games (cough Ori, taliyah)

yet, maokai being the most gamebreaking champion we ever had since months is fine xd i mean did you ever see a maokai thread?

dude has 54% win rate 10% pick rate, can engage from 2000 range with glory and ult, can gank you from nowhere with his ult, can protect baron like a boss with saplings in bush and ult

but do you see maokai threads? no, better complain about GP +15 passive damage, ekko -2 sec cd buff at rank 1 E

How is this less salty than other complaining threads?

from the entire time i was on board, i never saw so many threads insulting rioters, telling them that they're drunk at their job, or smoking crack of any other shit like that

anyway i'm happy that high elo is being looked at for balance ONCE for a year, and low elo crying for it is even better

salty about buffing 45% win rate lux, 45% win rate nasus

Slightly inaccurate as Lux was actually at a 43% win rate in patch 7.14, but Nasus was at a 48% win rate.

Win rate is not the only measure of a champion's power. I'll remind you that old LeBlanc (the version where she still had her silence that everyone thought was the most toxic thing ever to hit this game) had a 45% win rate. Her silence was removed, not because of her win rate which was pathetic, but because of the frustration people had playing againt it.

Nasus was fine as is---an INFINITELY scaling champion who was a ticking time bomb in games; if you don't end the game by about 30-35 minutes you will likely lose it. The reason his win rate wasn't higher previously is because of the nature of League these days; games are substantially shorter and more of a one-way stompfest than they used to be. That's why champions like Lux also have a lower win rate---she thrives on late game damage, but the current state of the game doesn't favor that.

Riot is definitely playing with fire by buffing them.

funny thing about nasus win rate vs game time... his win rate is highest pre 25 mins being 53.20%

01-25min 53.20% 25-30min 40.37% 30-35min 44.31% 35-40min 48.39% 40+min 49.34%

So? You wanted Rioters to get fired over buffing 46% winrate Heimerdinger with 0 professional play. Stop that holier-than-thou nonsense.

Ahristocats1 votes

i wanted a rioter to get fired for DESIGNING heimer 7 years ago, not for buffing 46% win rate heimer

heimer design is trash and garbage, and does not fit to league or any kind of moba

Yeah, firing someone over a 7 year old champion design (back when many terrible champions were released because champ design wasn't at the level it is now) surely makes a lot of sense.

Everything was terrible in the first years. Today people cry over minor diffrences in strength and call it broken. Back then there were probably 70%-80% win rate champions. Today we cry over 2%.

Can mods rename this thread "nerf maokai op wtf" to more accurately reflect its contents?

thx

Yes this isn't about boards being salty, it's just more salt. WTF Give me my money back.

I thought this was the usual amount of salt. How is Gameplay anymore salty than usual?

oSEXYPLATYPUSo1 votes

yes maokai has a 10 % pick rate but thats including top, jungle and support. not one individual role.

he is strong ... but strongest in jungle partly due to cindhulk buffs ( just like other tank junglers) and his ability to clear fast and how his E interacts vs camps if you have a bush to proc the passive of E

but in the other roles... his win rate at support is 50.25% his win rate at top is 52.93% (still consider strong but not broken) but his jungle win rate is 55.42% hence why riot is looking at cinderhulk currently and there is post of talk of nerfing his Q by damage and/or cd
