Even tho I love playing him and essentially main him, no matter what they do to him if it's not giving him waveclear in place of his E or Passive he won't be good. He won't even be decent.

"GP isnt a duelist" Q is single target and procs spell and on-hit effects W is a sizable instant heal+ cleanse E is a passive and active AD/movespeed boost R is a global lane-wide AoE that slows by a good amount and deals constant, high damage.
GP is a duelist. Hes not meant to sit back and let his minions do the work; hes meant to harass with Q, go in with E, gain the upper hand with W, and stop their escape with R. His passive only makes his duelist nature even more apparant.
However, due to the sheer strength of his kit, GP can play a myriad of ways. Not just as a duelist.

Having a slow and autoattacking doesn't make him a duelist. Literally every champion is a duelist by that definition.
GP is utility melee carry split pusher. He loses literally every 1v1 where he isn't at least 500 range away from them, and typically if he doesn't crit at least twice he loses.

In the mean time use what everyone else has to use HYDRA, you have a heal that removes cc and an ability to make you run faster, do you need hyper easy mode with gp? Even if you lose early you are nightmare to a mid lane and adc late, you really want more?
