An Assassin's mobility or mobility related skill should not deal that much damage at all

Assassins should deal a lot of damage really fast and should typically be mobile, but their mobility move doesn't need to be the one that is the easiest to use while also being the most damaging by far since its more reliable.

Assassins should have to decide between Mobility or Damage, safety or Kill. LB, Akali, Fizz deal so much fucking damage with their mobility moves that you pretty much cannot react and they are so reliable and safe that it doesnt matter if you are over extended in the first place.

yet this is in the game:

Leblanc 85/125/165/205/245(+60% AP) AoE and can be double cast with R Akali 100/175/250(+50% AP) Single target Q Fizz 100% Total AD + Sheen + 10/40/70/100/130(+60% AP) Single target E Fizz 70/120/170/220/270(+75% AP)

Yet, Talon mobility move deals no damage Yet, Pantheon mobility move deals low damage that he doesn't scale with in the slightest Yet, Katarina mobility move only deals 60/85/110/135/160(+40% AP) to a single target Yet, Zed mobility move deals no damage Yet, Ahri mobility move takes aiming, timing and actual brain function unlike LB's W even though it deals high damage

that's a pretty arbitrary rule with no reasoning.

They already get insane mobility and high damage, why does their mobility skill need to do a fuck ton of damage and be super reliable in doing said damage? Their mobility move should be used to escape and to enter like an assassin, let their other skills be used for damage.

LB as one example should only really use her Distortion to escape or to close the gap, the fact that you can basically double cast it as your most reliable burst move in most scenarios seems odd to me.

you realize it's actually a disadvantage to have your damage tied to mobility? if you have to use your mobility to escape then you lose out on burst and don't want to use it to get in an appropriate position and instead need to use it to get right on top of the enemy. zed's safety is because all his damage is on other abilities and he can harass without going in then escape, or hop over to a place where he can deal damage without being directly on top of someone.

if a champion could choose to have all their damage on their mobility move or their other spell, they should choose the other spell every time

Zed's mobility deals no damage. It's the effect of his other skills through his shadow, but the skill itself does nothing.

Yeah good point.

LB's distortion makes me cringe balance wise. Why they thought it would be a good idea to make her mobility move a fucking nuke is beyond me.

Having damage on your mobility spell is a double-edged sword, If you use it for mobility ( to escape or to get in range) then you lose a big chunk of your damage.

Also, Talon Talon's E give him 15% increased damage done. (That's a lot of damage). Pantheon Pantheon's W stuns, and his R does 500 to 1000 baseline damage. Katarina Katarina's shunpo does a lot of damage, and gives her 15% damage reduction. Zed Zed's W and R both give him an additional shuriken to deal increased damage. Ahri Ahri's take about as much "aiming" as Leblanc, the only difference being that Ahri is a ranged ability while Leblanc's is melee.

You are clearly: -High as fuck. -Trolling. -Dumber than a bag of rocks.

Pick one or more of the above.

It doesn't really matter which button has the damage. What matters is how reliable the play pattern is and how much damage the overall pattern does.

For example, pre-nerf, Talon's all-in combo was significantly stronger than Ahri's -- no need to land a skillshot, no ability for the opponent to react, either you have the damage or you don't. That's why Talon E was nerfed, even though it does no damage on its own.

LeBlanc wouldn't feel better if you moved 50 damage off W and onto Q. Actually, she'd feel worse to play against, because moving damage off W gives her more ability to use it as a flash, rather than as a damage move.

distortion requires more aiming than spirit rush does....

also zed has mobility that does damage, his R does 1.0 AD base damage even if you land nothing.

kat mobility damage is "low" because it gets resets, so it's more like 600+300% Ap by the end of a teamfight if her team didn't lose it outright/kat didn't get cced to death 100-0 (number not actually mathed).

talon's invisible massive movespeed boost doesn't count as mobility now? you didn't specify dashes/flashes matey

pantheon's long range mobility has 1000 base damage, OK more realistically 500 but that is still a shit ton of damage for such a long range ground-targeted teleport.

I kind of have to agree. Kat skill reset (let's face it, it isn't a CD timer reduction, its a hard reset on everything except her ult, and even that can be reset pretty easily) is utterly broken and needs to be nerfed into oblivion. The only gates on her abilities are her cooldowns because no resource requirements, which are very short to begin with and easily bypassed, especially in team fights.

Fizz troll-pole is ridiculous in its universal invulnerability. But at least its on a fairly slow CD and there is plenty of counter play.

Leblanc is... just OP in every way. On top of having really good AP scaling, she has a 1 sec invisibility + controllable clone as a passive, double damage Q, double damage W, CC with her E, and another doubler with her ult! WTF Riot that's crazy! Any instant teleport, skill reset, or invulnerability move is generally hard to balance. Leblanc has all of them and then some!
