Inactive accounts for over 3 months should NOT qualify for Clash.

Just had this smurf in clash just rape our team using fid mid. And we easily won the next game against players with higher elo. Bullshiit

If you haven't played in 1 game in 2 weeks, you shouldn't qualify.

Teams in clash always have 1 smurf account which can lead to these 1 sided matches. Imo, the main account and the smurf account should be linked into 1. Riot should have site that does that link so that if I am diamond 3 trying for a reward, I shouldn't be able to play on my plat 4 account or, if I had 1, a bronze account. The thing about the play 1 game in 2 weeks idea is that you already need to do the flex que matches mission So it wouldn't work.

The sms verification means people will need multiple cell phones if they want to try to smurf and also be able to get clash rewards on their main, so it seems like a pretty strong incentive to avoid playing clash on a smurf account. They did say that playing on smurfs isn't ok anyway, and those found out will lose their rewards.

I wouldn't put the limitation on inactivity though. Theres probably plenty of non-smurf players who may have half quit and might be coming back to try out clash, and besides that it's not terribly difficult for people to just get in a few games in the previous week or two. Most smurfs are actually played on at least occasionally anyway, rather than laying dormant for months on end, so I'm not sure the inactive thing you're describing would even achieve the goal of stopping smurfs anyway.
