Like... sure, for the first 15 minutes he has a good poke... but if he dies once or the enemy adc gets 10-20 farm above him, he's more useless than a Soraka who builds trackers knife in the jungle for the rest of the game.
Idk, I just can't with Ez adc. It's beyond me how he's op.

I had a relatively decent Ez who farmed in one game of mine, but he died once early to the enemy jng, enemy adc got ahead with a little farm, and it was like he fell completely off.

solo Q players don't take advice. You're better off focusing on how you can carry. Attempting to micromanage an ally never works. I've never seen it work.
But I think for supports just whoever you're good at because the important thing as support is lane control. You have to keep the pressure off your ADC so he can farm more easily. Ez is good at last hitting from range but it's still really important to keep control of the lane. It's also helpful if you have some sort of waveclear in case the enemy lane shoves you in because Ezreal's waveclear sucks.
