Two words: lane swap.

Another piece of advice: stop first picking immobile champions in a meta that highly emphasizes the use of mobility and cc Lissandra Kalista Kennen Ahri JarvanIV Leblanc RekSai and the list goes on to further prove my point.

Edit: yet another thing you can do, stop focusing kills and focus on farm. 10x more reliable gold income than kills are.
