"Kill Lane"

Ok now i've heard it all. Yet another phrase used by people who get the support role that refuse to support. This damn Mundo. Guy is support an locks in Mundo.......I have no problem with that..ive seen it before. All is good. Then game starts......shyt goes bad fast. Mundo is taking our adcs farm while shes trying to last hit. She tells him stop taking the farm and he says "kill lane" "share gold."

So is this the new trend to get out of supporting?

This guy was just unreal. Complained to the adc that "you do no damage" after he died trying to fight. We were only 4 minutes into the game wtf? No one is doing real damage by then unless you're Karma. Then he hit a new level when he called KS on the adc in a 2 v 2 fight.

Some people man...they will do anything but dodge just to not have to support.

Oh believe me we know....he showed that over and over when he was split pushing top and bot while enemy team was in our base. "support" running tele/ignite. This is what the games coming too.

Guy I main support...what are you talking about? My recent games this weekend have not been support because im a little tired of having to support unsupportable people, so ive been playing more mid and top. But if you go to op.gg and look at my match history further back...you will see over half my games are support.

hell look at my profile...you will see my top 2 most used champs are Voli and Leona who i use as support.

Im seriously wondering if you actully read my whole post because your comment really makes no sense to what my post was about.

I personally abhor kill lanes on principle alone, but no, he was not playing a killlane. He was playing second top. A bit more elusive than second mid, but still a pest. Overall it's the concept of the fake support.

If he was going to be going killlane, he needed to either run item 3302 or item 3301 and eventually turn them into one of these: item 3401 item 2303 item 3069 item 2302 . If he went with one of the traditional support items, he still needed item 2049 or item 2045 .

Sadly it is most common at a bronze level for these types to lurk. It still lingers as you move up from there, but not as much.

Well i think it should only be done if agreed on in champ select....this guy just chose to do it hiself without saying a word about it til they were in the lane.

Jhin + Xerath is the only Kill Lane I care about. And not buying a gold-item/jacking cs is beyond stupid as both the ADC and support are going to walk out of lane with a pretty sizeable gold deficit.

Uhh, I have heard "kill lane" be applied to any lane with a Leona Draven Lucian and any other lane that has a lot of impact early but only a moderate one late. But even when I play support Zyra Ziggs Zilean Xerath Veigar Syndra Anivia Lissandra I would not call any of those "kill lanes" as their primary function is not to kill off the competition, but to apply cc and poke. Kills are but icing on the cake.
