Better Remove the Sweeper Too...

The #1 use for sweeping lens is to sweep areas for vision wards. Remove the vision wards, sure you still have the trinket and a ss, but what about early game vision control when everyone is pre 9 and maybe one person has a ss? Most of the vision is from the vision wards purchased during that time. So either rework it or remove it and replace it with something else that is more practical.

Yellow trinket now starts out at 2 wards

dragon/baron control should be most of your ward clearing. You're doing it wrong if the most useful time to use sweeper is pre-9. item 3361 allows you to have 3 wards always on the map.

Though sweeper might suffer some because whoever has it can't ward at all other than 1 pink, so something should probably be done about that. But doesn't mean it needs removed.

Also, you can switch trinkets with very little cost (just a cooldown timer on it), so a lot of people start item 3340, then switch to item 3364 later. No reason not to keep doing that..

item 3340 item 3361 will still exist, so will these item 2049 item 2045 (<-- LOL its URF the manatee)

They are even adding a fusion of item 2049 + any one of these: item 3096 item 3098 item 3097 making a slot efficient gold income support item while still being a ward producer! Thus freeing up a slot for Supports.

Apparently they are changing (buffing) item 3363 & item 3364 . Though I'm unsure how exactly. You will just no longer be able to spend 75g and get: item 2044

Random idea how to buff item 3364 On cast it places and anti-ward. Anti-ward works the same as item 2043, except provides no vision, but also denies enemy wards within it's area vision of everything except the anti-ward (so you're forced to kill the anti-ward to regain vision of the area). Champions still have vision in the area though. Max 1 anti-ward on the map. Can still have 3 green/1 pink. (Though with new system likely just 1 pink+1 anti.)

That sounds kinda clunky? idk

Also: Any Stealth ward placed by trinkets or Sightone upgrades will produce a "remains" kind of thing so you can start to see your enemies warding habits. Since I don't have a PBE account I'm only getting my info from stuff like Surrender@20 and other things like the League Wikia. I'm not perfect.

Yeh, is clunky. Base idea though, thought up on spur of the moment. Sure someone out there somewhere has a way to refine it. ;) Or I might come up with a better version later. Tired after work atm.

Sweeper is kinda the anti-vision trinket though. I think that could be expanded on in other ways than revealing wards. True sight to reveal stealth champs as the current buff never felt exactly right, was just Riot's workaround for removing oracle elixir.

". In tandem with this change, however, we’re also adding a new feature in ward ‘debris’ when a ward passes on. By giving you the ability to see the dead bodies of wards who’ve moved on with their lives, you’ll be able to learn more about your opponent’s vision habits as well as your own."

That sounds way more useful for high level/full premade team play. I just can't see it being useful to know where wards were unless you're more coordinated than solo queue is. Sure there might be a couple times a game where it's slightly useful, but not by enough to matter enough to change the outcome of a game. It could evolve pro play though, so I still think it's cool, just not particularly useful for me/95-ish percent of League players.
